Fruit Bouquet,

I need some relationship advice. When I first met Kai, she seemed like the one. We finished each other’s sentences, we channeled without trying, and used to enjoy actually talking on the phone.  Two-months into the relationship, I’m facing her birthday. Since, I plan to break up with her in the near future, can you recommend that best fruit bouquet to send to let her down easy? And should I sign include details about the break up in the birthday card message?

 Dear NFFBA in Ohio:

It sounds like you’ve given this break up some serious thought. And, how considerate of you to fret over the best fruit bouquet to finalize the break up. We also commend you on being aware of the environment, maximizing the card for a birthday card and break up note all in one. (Very green).

But without knowing Kai’s personality and other relationship details, you should assess the type and size of fruit bouquet on how guilty you feel about ending the relationship:

For example, if you feel really guilty and she has several friends to help ease the loss, send a party sized edible fruit bouquet. These bouquets will run about  $80-plus.

This is especially a good fruit bouquet  to send if you run in the same circle of friends and want to alleviate any future tension.

If you really want to get the break up point across, send her the edible fruit bouquet mug.  This one serves one person. This is a decent gift because the mug will leave be a keepsake of how the relationship ended.

If you plan to keep the dating door open send her a chocolate dipped edible fruit bouquet or chocolate dipped strawberries.
